INTIMATIONS 14th DECEMBER
Monday 15th December : Men’s Club – Indoor Bowls at the usual time of 1.30p.m. in the hall of Larkhall New, St Machan’s building. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation and friends to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
Tuesday 16th December :
• Coffee Morning ☕️ from 10am to 11.30a.m in Larkhall New – St Machan’s hall. All are welcome. Please come along and enjoy the coffee/tee and of course good fellowship. Please note that this will be the last coffee morning until further notice.
• CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT
Tuesday 16th December : at 1pm our annual Carol concert will be held in the Church. This is being organised by the Senior Friendship Circle, The Guild and the Men’s Club and this year the Summer Brass Christian Band will be leading the singing. This band is made up mainly of Salvation Army folks and is led by Iain Dickie.
Joining us this year will be 40 to 45 children from Robert Smillie Primary School so we are looking forward to welcoming them, along with yourselves, for an hour or Christmas celebrations.
There is no admission fee and there will be an opportunity to give a donation to the work of the Band after the concert if you wish to do so.
Tea, Coffee, mince pies and shortbread will be served in the hall afterwards to which you are warmly invited

Wednesday 17th December - Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service has now finished until January. Watch out here or details of the start date.
Friday 19th December : Pancake Coffee Morning returns from 10am – 12 noon in St Machan’s hall. A very warm welcome is extended to everyone to drop in for a freshly made hot pancake and a cup of tea or coffee and please also bring along your friends and neighbours. The Pancake Mornings will be held on the last Friday of each month with the next one being Friday 30th January 2026.
Sunday 21st December - Nativity Sunday. Morning Worship will be held at the usual time of 11a.m. in St Machan’s Sanctuary when the children of the Sunday Fun Club will take centre stage.

Alpha Course
An Alpha course returns to our church and ALL ARE WELCOME to attend. We will meet on Thursday evenings from 7.00 till 8.30pm. The 10 week course will start on 5th February 2026 and will be held in our St Machans Church building.
The sessions cover the basics of the Christian Faith in a simple and straight forward way using videos hosted by Nicky Gumbel, the writer of the Alpha course, who is a very good and engaging speaker.
